Credit Union members have been experiencing automated calls involving their debit cards.
They consist of a call to the cardholder attempting to access account information. They are informed that their debit card has been deactivated and will need to be reactivated. The cardholder is then asked to provide key account information such as account numbers and expiration dates in order to re-activate the affected debt card. These are phishing scams. DO NOT respond to these calls. Our Fraud Protection unit will not ask for your card number or account number in the event that your card might be compromised.
